The bottom edge is finished with a scalloped hem that has a 2-inch (5 cm) drop from the lowest point to the highest point of the scallop. The fabric weight is 55 grams per square meter, making it lightweight and airy. The voile is not lined and does not block UV rays significantly; prolonged direct sunlight may fade furniture over time, but the fabric itself is UV-resistant and will not yellow quickly. The color is ivory white. The fabric is machine washable: use cold water, gentle cycle, mild detergent. Do not use fabric softener as it may reduce the fabric’s breathability. Tumble dry low or line dry. Do not bleach. Iron on low if needed. The polyester voile is wrinkle-resistant; wrinkles typically fall out after hanging for a few days.
